Client: WATPAC Specialty Services Pty Ltd
Project: Holy Spirit Hospital, Chermside
Duration: July 2008 to November 2008
Project Value: $650,000
Project Details: Our contract was an early works package which included a new 70 bay car park including entry/exit points with BCC weld mesh fencing, a 200m section of internal hospital road redirected around the new building extension which was made more difficult due to it was the only internal road that had access to the emergency entrance and had to remain open full time for ambulance access. We also undertook the stormwater re-diversion and other temporary road accesses to the new building site, bulk Earthworks to the new building platform under level 1 supervision.
Well the New Year is in full swing and with it has come plenty of rain. The rain is fantastic for all the new turf that has been laid at Nudgee College and Les Hughes Sports Complex. These projects are both coming into the final stages of construction whilst construction at Griffin Sports Facility is ramping up despite the recent weather. We have also been awarded two new projects in the new year. One is Sports field lighting upgrades at 3 locations within the Moreton Bay Regional Council area and the second is goal upgrades to various sites for Redland City Council whom we are excited to be working with again.
