Client: McNab Constructions Pty Ltd
Project: Riverlinks Medical Centre, North Ipswich
Duration: May 2009 to March 2010
Project Value: $400,000
Project Details: This site was a high profile location due to it being a contaminated site that borders the Bremmer River. This drew a lot of local interest from the EPA and Ipswich City Council. Main Constructions worked closely with the EPA and Ipswich Council to ensure that the correct procedure for the removal and stock pile of the contaminated soil was adhered to. Our contract was to do the bulk earthworks, civil storm water, detailed excavation and construct a new car park.
Well the New Year is in full swing and with it has come plenty of rain. The rain is fantastic for all the new turf that has been laid at Nudgee College and Les Hughes Sports Complex. These projects are both coming into the final stages of construction whilst construction at Griffin Sports Facility is ramping up despite the recent weather. We have also been awarded two new projects in the new year. One is Sports field lighting upgrades at 3 locations within the Moreton Bay Regional Council area and the second is goal upgrades to various sites for Redland City Council whom we are excited to be working with again.
