Client: Matrix Constructions Pty Ltd
Project: Griffith University, Nathan Campus – Willett Centre Car Park
Duration: February 2010 to November 2010
Project Value: $250,000
Project Details: Site clearing, bulk excavations, car parks and storm water diversions. This project includes the use of tree felling and hire of a wild life spotter. This job is difficult because of where it is situated within the university. There are three separate car parks surrounded by bush land. Due to these aspects we have to take extra precautions to avoid any unnecessary disruption to the environment.
Well the New Year is in full swing and with it has come plenty of rain. The rain is fantastic for all the new turf that has been laid at Nudgee College and Les Hughes Sports Complex. These projects are both coming into the final stages of construction whilst construction at Griffin Sports Facility is ramping up despite the recent weather. We have also been awarded two new projects in the new year. One is Sports field lighting upgrades at 3 locations within the Moreton Bay Regional Council area and the second is goal upgrades to various sites for Redland City Council whom we are excited to be working with again.
