Project Details: Main Constructions is pleased to be undertaking another sporting development with the upgrading and expansion of the Netball facilities at Centenary Lakes. This project will take about 8 months to complete with the job being undertaken in three stages. This will allow the facility to remain in use throughout the project. The project involves the construction of 6 new grass courts within the adjacent velodrome along with the replacement of the existing courts with 14 new courts, which will be paved with a specialised sports court surface.
In the last few weeks Main Constructions has been awarded projects by Redland City Council and Gold Coast City Council. Works for Redland City Council involve the replacement of light poles at three public tennis centres and we will also be replacing two basketball towers and a multipurpose goal. Gold Coast City Council have engaged us to undertake design and construction of lighting upgrades at Pizzey Park Rugby. Our Project at Griffin Sports Facility is well and truly underway with the site really starting to take shape. The building has the roof installed and work has commenced on the playing fields. We are looking forward to seeing the end result.
