Client: Byron Shire Council
Project: North Ocean Shores Sports Facility
Duration: Apr 2016 – Oct 2016
Project Value: $2,040,700
Project Details: For this project we have ventured a little further south into NSW. The project involves the construction of a new soccer field to service the growing area including a clubhouse, field lighting, car parking and storage shed. In order for the site to be connected to power services a new padmount transformer was installed and commissioned. The clubhouse houses a canteen, two change rooms, referees change room, office/medical room, Female and Male WC and PWD facilities as well as a large covered outdoor area. The field itself is a full size soccer field which will be able to cater for Football Far North Coast Premier Division.
In the last few weeks Main Constructions has been awarded projects by Redland City Council and Gold Coast City Council. Works for Redland City Council involve the replacement of light poles at three public tennis centres and we will also be replacing two basketball towers and a multipurpose goal. Gold Coast City Council have engaged us to undertake design and construction of lighting upgrades at Pizzey Park Rugby. Our Project at Griffin Sports Facility is well and truly underway with the site really starting to take shape. The building has the roof installed and work has commenced on the playing fields. We are looking forward to seeing the end result.
